Career Services


The objective of Workplace Hollywood's Career Services is to educate and assist candidates seeking employment in the entertainment and media industries.  We have designed a Career Development Program that consists of workshops and training seminars specifically designed to address the qualifications and requirements of our employers.

The Career Development Program will assist and help you take control and expand your job search by providing the following services:

1.     Career Services Workshops

*      Orientation and assessment

*      Resume and Cover letter writing for the industry

*      Job Search and Networking Techniques

*      Interviewing and Negotiating Skills

*      WH Job Readiness Certification

2.     Job Listings

3.     WH Job Search Management Tools

4.     Resume posting

5.     Weekly support groups

Please register if you meet any of the following criteria:

-  Not currently working in the entertainment or media industry

-  Less than 5 years experience in the industry.

-  Recently downsized or unemployed from any industry.

-  California and/or Los Angeles resident.

-  At least 18 years of age.

-  High School or College graduate.

-  Must be able to attend weekly 2 hour workshops and complete Job Readiness Certification.


Workplace Hollywood is looking for forward to assisting you in finding employment in the Entertainment and Media industry.  However, you must first register to complete the application process, post your resume and attend a Career Services orientation.

Once you have completed your registration, you will be invited to a Career Strategy Workshop.
